and gone again

Hey everybody,

As some of you might have noticed already, I've been practicing my drawing again.
It's been over 4 years ago since I did a serious traditional drawing attempt and that wasn't really great in my opinion.
Anyway, I bought my 1st wacom tablet 2 months ago and have been practicing with it, alot.
I did some regular drawing and painting practices to get the feeling I needed to start with a real attempt.
This resulted into my dragon painting "The Escape", wich can be found in my gallery!
The comments on this painting are stunning and gives alot motivation to keep the progression speed high..
Although I would love to go ahead with practicing digital drawing/painting, I decided that the traditional way has it's advantages aswell.
So that means that for each digital drawing/painting I finished, a traditional one has to be made aswell. (I try atleast)

But okay, that's enough for so far. I can keep going on talking about it, but that might won't keep your attention while reading.

I'M BACK

Where have I been? Well, just at home, but slacking and tired

Nah, just fooling around with ya'll!
Anyway, this is what happend the last few months of my absence (what I disapprove, but shit happens! )

First off all, as the most of you know, I went just before my absence to Germany for a meeting.. I can't say I felt really comfortable there, what probably might be the case because I couldn't blend into the group
Besides that I had a really nice time with a few people, with one person in particular!

After that, when my absence became a fact.. I was asked to make a workshop for the United Kingdom version of Advanced Photoshop Magazine, issue 75! But I was to happy to NOT make you aware of that hahaha
Well, that magazine has been published and the reactions of people where really awesome.. I even printed a 100cm x 80cm canvas of the finished manipulation! But that was an available option for me thanks to my internship ghehe
Also, tommorow (14-12-2010) the Dutch version of Advanced Photoshop magazine, issue 33, will be publishing my workshop aswell in their magazine.. That's what I call a happy ending of the year with 2 publications

Uhm,, what's more??
Hell yeah, I finally entered my 20th birth year _{(dunno if that makes any sense, but who cares haha)}
I still need to thank all those people who congratulated me here on dA! Believe it or not, the day of my birthday I did check dA for any responses about my birthday But I never expected that such amount of people thought of me, eventhough I'm on an absence for a few months already!

As last, but not as least!
There is a new photo-manipulation coming! I finally found the courage to crawl behind my screen again, even after a full work day behind the screen, to make some personal work!
